Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Hundreds of Scientologists assembled at the Váci Road church in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a presentation Magyar looking toward the coming years.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
