Scientology Marks a Decade at Its Budapest Ideal Org

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Dedicated in July 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become a home for Scientology religious services and community programmes. The anniversary brought together a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social Budapest betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
